Top 5 Debuts of 2015

This year has been great for rookie groups, as there have been more successful debuts than I can remember there being in any year that I've been a K-pop fan. Of course there have been some less successful but you can't deny that 2015 has had a flood of talented idols, and I'm sure plenty of them will have a bright future ahead. The years of 2014 and 2015 does kind of feel like the new "wave" of K-pop, if you get what I'm saying, as most of the major labels have put out new groups (in 2014 we had Red Velvet, Lovelyz, Winner, Mamamoo, Got7 and Uniq for example). Personally I'm really liking this new generation of idol groups, and although there were some that I wanted to include I had to cut it down to five. Enjoy!

Top 10 Choreographies of 2015

The "Best of 2015" series continues, and today we will tackle one of the most exciting categories in my opinion; best choreographies. The dancing is arguably on of the best parts about K-pop in general, especially when you're from a western country where the pop groups rarely dance and if they do; poorly, and even my mom who isn't much of a fan is amazed by how great everyone is at dancing. Below I have compiled my 10 favorite dance routines of the year, with some honorable mentions at the end for those who were so close to making it, but sadly didn't. Enjoy!

Bring The Girls Out!: A "The Ark" and "Oh My Girl" Debut Post

The year of girl group debuts continues on, and so far I've been delighted by all of the next generation's idol groups. It all started back in 2014 with the debut of Mamamoo, Red Velvet and Lovelyz, but has escalated quickly the first half of 2015 with new groups such as GFriend and CLC debuting. I never thought I would be this invested in rookie groups, and I probably wouldn't have either if all of them weren't so instantly appealing. The Ark and Oh My Girl are two new groups that come with different styles and concepts, but has both caught my eye with their impressive skills.
