Rate the Look - Girl's Day's "Darling"

Girl's Day just came back with the "Darling", a cute summer song spiked with some sexiness, colorful scenery and traditional summer rituals like car washing. Being a big fan of the season and it's fashion I was excited to see the members wearing some really great outfits in the video.

Rate the Look - GOT7's "A"

So, GOT7 just came back and is looking better than ever. Like, the styling for this comeback is absolutely spot on and I refuse to admit they ever wore anything else.

Rate the Look - f(x)' "Red Light"

I seriously don't know how to begin to formulate this post that I'm about to put together. I had been away for a while when I first saw the endless amount of photos that SM had released to build up hype for f(x) standard summer return, and I had two initial thoughts when I came across them.
1. This is really, really, really good.
2. Are SM actually putting in some real effort this time around?

Truth be told, this group usually gets the short end of the stick and with EXO skyrocketing to fame it appeared as if all hope was lost, but with this new concept it might seem like there's still some light to hold onto.

Rate the Look - Beast's "Good Luck"

The 6 handsome boys of beast are back after a year with new single "Good Luck" and an accompanying mini-album. This is a group with many good looking guys and there were some instant stand-outs when I saw the teaser pictures and the video. Beast have generally had quite dark and colorless styling throughout the years (apart from Beautiful Night which was the exact opposite), and it seems they have continued with that theme this time around as well.

Rate the Look - AOA's "Short Hair"

I wasn't going to do this because I find this group generally uninteresting ever since they ditched the band concept and jumped on the Brave Brothers wagon, but their latest comeback had some nice points and the styling was definitely one of them. 

Rate the Look - VIXX' "Eternity"

Our own supernatural idols VIXX have returned to the scene after 6 months (wow, it really that long since Voodoo Doll?) with another out-of-this-world concept, a genre they've mastered and made their own by now. VIXX pretty much always looks amazing, but has really found themselves a trademark style since On and On back in early 2013, consisting of mostly fitted clothes and suits which can never go wrong in my opinion. 

Rate the Look - Infinite's "Last Romeo"

The boys are back in town and I'm at the edge of my seat shamelessly drooling over them. Compared to last year's comebacks, Last Romeo has a concept I'm much more comfortable as an Infinite fan, and is a concept I think suits them better as well.

Rate the Look - EXO's "Overdose"

This post is about 1 month old now, as I wrote it in the beginning of April, prior to both the album and video release. I had initially planned to release it as soon as the MV was out, but as you all now that didn't happen until very recently. So, what was I to do with this pretty much finished review? It felt a bit awkward to post it anyway, so I just kept on hold until the time was right. And that time is now, ladies and gentlemen.

I initially wanted to do this with their "Boy In Luv" comeback, but I was a bit late. However, not much time has passed since then and they all pretty much look the same, so I figured this would work just as well. 

Also, this is the first male group to feature in this segment! You thought I was only going to judge the ladies, huh? In my defense I will say that not many boy groups have been active these past months. It's truly been the ladies' year so far!

Rate The Look - A Pink's "Mr Chu"

Korea's favorite innocent girls A Pink have returned with the glorious Mr. Chu and is currently killing it on the charts and will surely win some trophies during the following weeks as well. A Pink has a very specific sound and style and has carved themselves a nice little niche that only they can master. For this comeback, the girls look better than ever, and all I can do is just sit and stare in awe. 

Rate The Look - 4Minute's "Whatcha' Doin' Today"

For this second edition of Rate The Look, we examine the hairstyles and outfits worn by new top group 4Minute (they did beat both SNSD and 2ne1 for last weeks Inkigayo) and wonder what went wrong between the amazing teaser photos and the not-so-amazing video.

Welcome to the first rendition of "Rate The Look", as I will talk you through the styling for each member of a group for their comeback. Undeniably, one of the most exciting things about comebacks is to see what looks they will rock (or not), and this matters very much considering how visually based the entertainment industry. Groups will try different concepts that match their hair colors, makeup and clothes and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
